Terms of Service
Last updated 14 October 2026
These terms are an agreement between you and Martin Dvořáček, Czech Republic, who runs MailBridge (“we”). By creating an account you accept them. If you do not agree, do not use MailBridge.
1. What MailBridge does
MailBridge connects email accounts you own or are authorised to use to an AI assistant through the Model Context Protocol (MCP). The assistant can then read, search, sort, move, delete, draft and send mail in those accounts with the tools MailBridge provides. MailBridge is provided free of charge.
2. Your account
- You must be at least 16 and give a real email address.
- Connect only mailboxes that you own or have permission to use, and keep your passwords and API keys to yourself. You are responsible for everything done with your account.
- One account can connect up to 10 mailboxes.
3. You are in charge of your mailboxes and your assistant
MailBridge carries out the instructions it receives from you and from the AI assistant you connect. It does not judge whether an instruction is wise. In particular:
- An AI assistant can misunderstand a request, act on a vague or mistaken prompt, or make mistakes of its own. It may then move, archive, delete, mark or send mail you did not mean it to, or create rules that keep doing so.
- Actions run against your real mailbox. Mail that is deleted, moved, sent or changed may be impossible to recover.
- It is your responsibility to write clear instructions, review what your assistant proposes before you confirm it, try new rules on a small set of mail first, and keep your own backup of mail that matters to you.
4. Acceptable use
You must not use MailBridge to:
- send spam, phishing or other unsolicited or unlawful mail;
- access mailboxes without the owner's permission;
- attack, overload or probe MailBridge or any mail server, or get around its limits and protections;
- break the law or the terms of your mail provider.
We may suspend or delete an account that does any of this, without notice.
5. No warranty
MailBridge is provided “as is” and “as available”, without any warranty. We do not promise that it will be uninterrupted, error-free or suitable for a particular purpose, or that it will work with every mail provider.
6. Limitation of liability
To the fullest extent the law allows, we are not liable for any loss or damage arising from:
- actions taken in your mailboxes on your instructions or on those of the AI assistant you connected, including mail that was deleted, moved, archived, marked, sent or lost, and rules you created;
- incorrect, incomplete or misleading prompts, and decisions or mistakes of the AI assistant;
- outages or errors of your mail provider, your AI provider or our hosting providers;
- unauthorised use of your account caused by a leaked password or API key;
- loss of data, profit, business or reputation, or any indirect damage.
Nothing in these terms limits liability for damage caused intentionally or by gross negligence, for harm to life or health, or any other liability that cannot be limited by law, including the mandatory rights of consumers.
7. Ending the agreement
You can delete your account at any time in Settings; that ends this agreement. We may stop offering MailBridge, and will give at least 30 days' notice by email if we do.
8. Changes to these terms
We may update these terms. Material changes will be announced by email at least 14 days before they apply; using MailBridge after that means you accept them.
9. Law and contact
These terms are governed by the law of the Czech Republic. Consumers keep the protection of the mandatory law of the country where they live. Questions: privacy@mailbridged.com.
